Our long cherished dream of constructing a Church in the National Capital area may soon become a reality. During the past few years we acquired land, completed engineering drawings and obtained all the necessary building permits from the state and county. Our diocesan bishop H.G Mathews Mar Barnabas laid the foundation stone and our Catholicos His Holiness Baselios Mar Thoma Didymos I (the Head of the Indian Orthodox Church) broke ground for the project, and now we entered into the Construction Phase.

We are thankful to everybody who supported us spiritually and financially through these years. We request your continued support as we have entered the most financially demanding phase of this mission. Please make your donations using either of the following methods. (Donations are tax deductible, Federal Tax ID: 52-2183262)

  • Credit Card, Debit Card, Paypal (Paypal supports both credit and debit card donations)
  • Personal Checks (payable to St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church, Greater Washington, P.O. Box 10398, Silver Spring, MD 20914-0398)
